Production Operator
An ideal candidate would provide support to both the Control Room and Production Supervisor, and the Lead Operator in the processing of ethanol. Patrols area and inspects equipment such as: grain handing, milling, slurry, cook tube, liquefaction (enzymatic process), fermenters (yeast process), distillation, centrifuge, evaporator, utility water systems, lines, pumps, and others to detect malfunction and leakage. This position is an operations crew member assigned to a rotating shift for a medium-sized industrial processing plant. Primary goal is to assure safe and efficient production by responding to changing conditions in timely manner.
Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma/GED required; 3 years experience in chemical or processing plant experience preferred with Process Control Classes/experience helpful, but not required.

Grains Operator
The Grains Operator is a lead position that works in the rail yard operationg locomotive and heavy equipment (bucket loader) to fill rail car and trucks, inspecting grain/by-products to detect quality, operate console to control automated conveyor system, control equipment to clean and grind whole grain for use in production, sample collection. Previous supervisory experience desired.

Laboratory Technician
The Laboratory Technician is responsible for collecting samples for analysis and perform lab tests according to prescribed Standard Operating Procedures on routine samples in timely manner for purposes of quality control, process control or process improvement. Record and maintain test results and other data on standardized forms and enter required data accurately into computer database. Communicate and coordinate with Lab Supervisor and plant operations in a timely manner to ensure consistent operations based on results or other data which deviate from set operating parameters. Establish, maintain, and operate, via prescribed procedures, chemical preparation, and cleaning practices, laboratory and plant environment, equipment, and instrumentation. This position requires experience in a laboratory/quality environment performing analysis.
